This exercise mainly affects the middle part of the deltoid muscle.

Additionally affects the supraspinatus muscle (located deep in the deltoid muscle) and upper trapezius muscles when lifting the arms above the horizontal level.

Note: This exercise is suitable for beginners as it does not require much effort to maintain a constant position during the execution of a large number of repetitions.


Application exercises – shoulder press machine

To: Athletes beginners and intermediate level.

When: At the beginning of the workout. Before lifting the hand to hand on the simulator, do the press of a bar because of the head sitting after lifting the hand to hand on the simulator, do the front shoulder broach.

How much: 3-4 sets of 10-20 reps.
